Victor was found in Warren, MI in a sub-division at 14 Mile and Hayes laying in the front lawn of a home on August 14, 2013. There were several lacerations covering his chest, front legs and in his arm pits. Victor spent just under 2 weeks at the vets office where he underwent a few operations to begin the process of helping his deep wounds to heal. Victor is neutered, knows basic commands, is housebroken and overall is just a good ole boy.
BUT WHERE ARE HIS OWNERS? Victor was placed into foster where he was relaxing and our suspicions of him having a family grew stronger each day. He's a prissy boy choosing to stay inside versus going out into the rain. He knows he gets a cookie if he sits down when he comes in from potty duties. He is trustworthy alone at home.
Victor undergoes a few more procedures to replace the drain tubes aiding in his healing. Everyone who has seen him believes these wounds were inflicted by a human. Long deep lacerations, a few short "quick" superficial ones along with one deep circular puncture.
Around the third week mark we were notified of Victor's owners. His name was actually "Charlie" and he is 6 years old. When informed of the condition of Victor/Charlie it was decided it was best to surrendered due to the inability to provide the medical care he was in need of. It is still not known what happened to Victor/Charlie. According to the owners he had become displaced on August 13, 2013. One day prior to him being found.
