Kodiak!
10 years, 8 pounds, Pomeranian
This charming little guy has been through a tough time, losing his beloved owner, but he’s still bursting with life, love, and a whole lot of spunk. Kodiak is a friendly, outgoing companion who gets along with dogs big and small, and even cats! He’s potty pad trained, but is doing well with using a dog door while his foster mom is home. This clever boy is also crate trained, making transitions a breeze. He attaches quite quickly to people also.
Due to heart disease, Kodiak requires daily medication (Vetmedin and Enalapril) to keep him comfortable and happy. Kodiak’s love for life is contagious, and he’s looking for a special family to share his golden years with. His ideal family will provide a comfortable, loving home where he can snuggle, play, and enjoy every moment. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this sweet, spunky boy, Kodiak promises to fill your life with joy, love, and endless cuddles.
Adoption Considerations: Kodiak’s heart disease requires ongoing medical care and management. His new family should be prepared to provide regular veterinary check-ups, manage his medication, and ensure he receives a comfortable, loving environment. If you’re interested in giving Kodiak a loving home for his remaining time fill out an application. Fully vetted.

This silly, small girl is “Frenzy” – approx. 5 year old Pit Mix, around 48lbs.
Frenzy loves ALL humans, & loves attention.
For the sake of transparency, when Frenzy first came to rescue, she was extremely dog reactive. Fast forward to now, in her foster home, she can be near other dogs through barriers (gates, fence, crate) with no issue. She even now shows play behavior towards other dogs.
This is a very controlled & zen environment, which she has thrived in. Do we think she could live with a dog sibling? The answer is, possibly. She does get very excited with change & newness in her environment (example being, when meeting new people) – so acclimating to a dog sibling would take some patience & time (meaning, likely several meets.) – We would recommend no cat siblings for her.
Frenzy came as a stray & it was clear both from her physical & mental state, that she was a street-savvy girl that knew how to survive on her own. What that means for the here & now, & her future, is that she will require either a 6 foot/privacy fence, or a tie-out situation under supervision (not left out unattended in a yard) – or she could live with no fence, with several walks throughout the day on leash.
She is comical, quirky, likes to “talk back” & croon sometimes, gets the funniest bouts of zoomies, loves being outside, is very treat/food motivated. She would love a person or family to call her own that will spoil her like she’s never had before coming to rescue.
Frenzy is fully vetted, including current on monthly preventions. If interested in meeting Frenzy please visit www.misfitangelsrescue.org to fill out an application
